IN HOME APPOINTMENT
The best way for me to help you is to meet you! Hear your thoughts and ideas, consider your concepts in terms of practicality and discuss how we can best reach these objectives. It’s never a hard sell for me but a slow, and considered discussion where we look at all the variables. Once I have visited you I will send you a detailed estimate in writing with any samples required.
I don’t measure a window once, I don’t measure it twice, I measure it 3 times. There is no room for error when it comes to making a bespoke item and the last thing I want is to have to make it for you a second time because I got it wrong however, if I do make a mistake I am a hands up chap who will put it right.
COLOURS & FABRICS
This is often the hardest aspect when you come to design your interior. My job is to help you have the confidence in your scheme. I will hear your thoughts and help you visualise them before you commit. More often than not my clients simply need to hear me say, DO IT! it will look great! and remember, its your home don’t feel you need to be swayed by external factors or other people.
Elsewhere on my website I have talked about how my services are an adaptable process that is homed to what and how you need to achieve your goals. This ethos is the same when it comes to how we price our projects. For instance, you’re in love with a William Morris fabric that probably costs £60 a meter which is way out of your budget, what I do is go away and find alternative fabric houses doing something similar for a fraction of the cost, problem solved. My advice to you is to always get a second quote for comparison, I can assure you that we are more cost effective than the high street.
EXPERTLY FITTED & AFTER CARE
The last thing I want is a phone call from a client to say ‘my curtain pole has fallen down’ or ‘my blind is stuck half way up the window’. This is why it is so important to me that the job is fitted perfectly. That being said, common sense depicts that items will eventually suffer from wear and tear, when this happens you call me, I come back, we get the matter resolved. It could be as simply as recording a roman blind or re-lubricating a curtain track after all, nothing lasts forever. Simple maintenance visits are considerations I don’t tend to charge for whether its three months down the road or three years. My business depends upon you coming back to me for further work, it depends on you telling your friends and family about the confidence you have in me which leads to referral. Not taking responsibility and looking after you properly is the road to ruin in my book.
